My Water Leave White Mineral Deposits:
Water containing white mineral deposits is commonly known as “hard water”. Hard water spots are caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium salts and their amounts are often described as degrees of “hardness”.
The degree of hardness varies by demographics all across the country and depends on the type and amount of limestone the water passes over before it reaches your home.
Water purveyors are not required to remove hardness; therefore, consumers need to remove the hardness at point of entry to the home.
There are two methods to deal with hard water. The most common and practical way to remove the hardness is with a water softener. We recommend a cation exchange water softener, however, there are many to choose from. How to Choose a Water Softener.
The second method is to treat the hardness with a magnetic impulse field that changes the magnetic structure of the hardness to a point at which the particles will not adhere to each other and allow the hardness to pass through the plumbing system. This method is much less expensive but will not remove calcium and other minerals within the water. Some researchers say that it is good not to remove all the minerals from our water and other researches say that our bodies will not assimilate the minerals from water but only from food. If you choose to leave the minerals in your water, the magnetic water conditioner product Hard Water Wizard works well for this type of hard water treatment.
We recommend the removal of hardness from water for the following reasons: hardness will cause numerous detrimental effects in your home such as excessive soap consumption, premature deterioration of all fabrics, toughening of vegetables, scale formation in water heaters resulting in excessive energy consumption and premature failure, and white spots on dishes, countertops, etc. just to name a few problems.
